What You’ll Do:
- Lead and oversee all resident care services, ensuring residents receive high-quality, personalized care.
- Supervise, coach, and support nursing, medication, and caregiving staff while fostering a positive team culture.
- Conduct resident assessments, develop care plans, and ensure services are delivered according to resident needs and state regulations.
- Coordinate healthcare services with physicians, pharmacies, therapists, hospice providers, and other care partners.
- Manage medication administration processes, physician orders, documentation, and medication compliance.
- Monitor resident health, respond to changes in condition, and coordinate admissions, readmissions, and transition planning.
- Ensure compliance with assisted living regulations, company policies, infection control standards, and resident rights requirements.
- Maintain accurate resident records, complete quality assurance reviews, and prepare for state surveys and audits.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate resident services staff while ensuring ongoing education and regulatory training requirements are met.
- Partner with residents, families, community leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to promote resident well-being, safety, and exceptional customer service.
- Be available on-call for emergencies and provide leadership coverage as needed.
What You’ll Need:
- Must be licensed with the state of employment as an RN and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, or a similar healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to model and reinforce desired cultural values, helping reset expectations and elevate team engagement.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassion and commitment to serving the senior population.
- Current CPR certification and ongoing CEUs for license renewal.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
